About Yana
Yana's love for music blossomed in childhood, where she often performed at family gatherings or gave "concerts" at home for any guests who visited. At 12, she discovered her talent for songwriting, crafting her first song, which ignited her passion for creating and performing her own music. By 15, Yana had competed nationally across Ukraine, performed at over 50 concerts, and earned multiple awards, including a 2nd place in the prestigious national competition, «Пісенний Вернісаж».
At 16, Yana and her family moved to the United States, marking the beginning of her journey toward fulfilling her childhood dream of recording her own album. By 21, she had written nearly 100 songs in multiple languages.
About "Nein"
"Nein" is Yana's first fully English album. The title has a dual meaning: it features 9 songs, and "nein," which means "no" in German, represents Yana's journey of learning to say "no" to others and "yes" to her dreams. The album spans various genres, including pop, rock, jazz, and alternative, reflecting Yana's exploration of her musical style.
